Providing a Circle of Support for
What is Hospice?
Hospice is a type of care and a philosophy of care that focuses on the palliation of a terminally ill patient’s symptoms. These symptoms can be physical, emotional, spiritual or social in nature. Hospice care is provided to people that have a limited life expectancy and choose comfort and relief from pain and other symptoms.
From its inception, the mission of Holisticare Hospice has been to ensure that end-of-life care envelops the patient, their caregivers, and their families with spiritual and physical comfort. Forgoing curative treatment and opting for a palliative approach allows hospice care to be provided where the patient lives, surrounded by family and friends with the support of experienced healthcare professionals.
Who We Are
It is our privilege to assist you in providing comfort and care to your loved one during this stage in life. We created Holisticare Hospice with a unified passion for providing quality hospice care in the areas that we serve.
Our Communication Commitment
We believe that end-of-life care is a collaborative effort. The needs of the family/caregiver are paramount when establishing a plan of care, and we communicate with the patient's family physician throughout the process. If care is provided in a nursing facility, we will coordinate and manage the patient's care plan with facility staff.
